Imagine a winter escape that combines the sunny-fun of relaxed beach lounging with the spiritual depth of shamanic teachings and a night-time ceremony on the Mexican beach. No need to imagine! That’s what we are offering.

We have built a friendship with the owners of an awesome out-of-the-way, family-owned-and-operated small resort that overflows with safe, lovely, charm & chill. This is NOT the hyped, super expensive spa-resort that some people are looking for. This is down-to-earth, authentic Mexican charm and chill, and this aligns with our teaching and healing work.

Hotel Rinconcito, in Mayto is about 1.5 hours south of Puerto Vallarta. We provide transportation by luxury van  to and from the resort. Hotel rooms are mere steps from a sparsely touristed beach, which is five minute's walk from a heart-warming turtle sanctuary where, if we are lucky, we can participate in a mass baby turtle release at sunset.

There is a marvelous secret cove a short walk away, where we will hold a powerful night-time ceremony on the beach under the guidance of grandfather fire, mother ocean, brother breeze, sister stars, and wondrous little helpers from the fertile earth. The entire week is spent steeping in the powers of the divine feminine.

Some of the teachings we will work with:

• Physical, mental and heart-based practices for clearing useless or intrusive old energies and drawing in new power.
• Opening the powers of beauty and hope. and learning to let them guide you.
  
• Ridding your energy field of old spiritual parasites that show up as behavior patterns that eat your power.

You will have ample time for quiet self-reflection, rest, or nourishing conversation with like-minded people. You will have a private room. (Most rooms involve climbing some stairs. Let me know if you mobility issues and need a ground-level room.)

The food is fresh, healthy, and authentically Mexican – cooked by the family who owns the resort. They can accommodate gluten free and vegetarian diets, but if you have other complex food allergies, this retreat may not be suitable for you.

The fee includes the retreat teachings, nighttime ceremony and ground transport from Puerto Vallarta (PV). We will leave as a group Monday Feb 16th. Everyone needs to be in Puerto Vallarta the night before. We will return to PV Saturday, thr 21st in late afternoon.

SCHEDULE: Everyone needs to be in Puerto Vallarta by Sunday night February 15th. You can stay where you want o, but we suggest staying at Flamingo Vallarta Hotel & Marina. It's very nice, and about $90. It is located close to the airport in a quiet, upscale neighborhood by a marina. You will make your own hotel reservation. We will leave as group on Monday morning the 16th for the 2 hour drive to Mayto. We will leave Mayto mid-morning of Saturday the 21st for the drive back to Puerto Vallarta, and plan to be in PV by 1 PM. If you want to risk it, you could book an evening flight out of PV on Saturday, and we will drop you at the airport, but we recommend you plan to stay in PV on the 21st and fly out Sunday. Please do  not make flight or hotel reservations before we send you an email saying the trip is definite "go." (This is our fourth year of this retreat, and there's no reason to think it won't happen.)

SAVE $300! The first eight registrations: $1100. (After that, $1400). 

It will help us all save money on flights if we know we have a minimum of 8 as early as possible!

Your fee covers the retreat (teachings an night-time ceremony), and ground transportation from Puerto Vallarta to the retreat and back. It does not cover any hotel or food expenses. Your estimated cost for Hotel Rinconcito and food (not including alcohol) for the week is ~$450. A decent hotel room in Puerto Vallarta will run about $120 per night. We will make your reservation at the resort, but you will pay for your room directly at the end of the week.

Your $500 deposit will hold your place and is non-refundable. The balance is due by December 29, 2024.
