“You have managed to create a simply AMAZING and unique alternative holiday experience! It’s been a long time since I’ve felt so alive.

We heartily welcome you to this 23rd annual solstice celebration and ceremony. The entire audience drums (drums and other wahoo-makers are provided or feel free to bring your own!). The live Celtic music lifts your spirits. The chorus of singers chant old earthy melodies and tones that Lutherans are not supposed to listen to. That strange old man and woman tell you stories that bend your mind, wrench your heart, and open a doorway to Spirit inside you. The evening takes you on a mythic journey into the arms of the Dark Mother of Life, to commune with the Cosmic Mother of All, and to be blessed by the Reindeer mother of new life. Along the way, you'll be making prayers for yourself and the world, for strength, stamina, wisdom, compassion and courage in these challenging times.

Your guides on this Journey: Jaime Meyer and Patricia Choate draw from decades of study of mysticism, theology and shamanic training with a variety of indigenous teachers.

Seating is limited to 100 each night.  All seats are general admission.  Doors open at 6:15, and the event begins at 7. Arrive early for the best choice of seats (and to drum!).

There are no physcial tickets -  just reserve your spots online,  and then show up.  There is parking on the street (meters) and parking across from the opera center in a paid lot. The budiing is handicap accessible.

We love kids, but this event is really not suitable for young kids unless they are accustomed to unusual ceremony with some sustained darkness, some spookiness, and silence. We can’t offer lower price children’s tickets. Ticket purchase is non-refundable and non-transferrable after December 12.

Our Wondrous Musicians: Caitlin Benson and Andrew Lentz

We are thrilled to have these two sensitive and skilled artists return for another year!
