Shamanic Mentorship

In my 30+ years of shamanic study with indigenous and non-indigenous teachers, I’ve found that books and online classes can teach you a lot, but having a human teacher you trust is incredibly valuable. As we work and study, specific questions come up that books can't answer, or we have experiences that we want feedback on.

People come to shamanic study with a wide variety of previous spiritual experinces and study. Some may be brand new to the ideas, and others may have a lot of study in certain ways, and are seeking more nuance or new angles on their work. For that reason, I can't lay out a precise curriculum here for your mentorship. We will begin with discussing where you are, and what is interesting you, or what is "working on you from the inside."

If you have definite ideas about what you want to learn or explore (or what terrifies you), we can start there. If you don't really know where to begin, we can start there! Also, in every mentorship, there is some healing work to do, which becomes part of the mentorship as well. In our first session, we typically discuss "where to begin" and we do some healing work.  Even the healing work is a type of training. For example, if we do some ancestral healing work, during that process, you'll learn about ancestral healing.

This mentorship consists of three personal sessions (in-person, Zoom, or phone) over a maximum of three months. The difference between a mentorship and three individual sessions is the open invitation to communicate between sessions, ask questions, and receive additional assignments. You can continue to add modules on for as long as you want.
