2026 Shamanic Healing Skills Training
Five in-Person Weekends + Two Zoom Calls
May 15 - August 1, 2025
Build Your Skills, Power, and Community
Join us for this hands-on, in-person shamanic training to grow your healing skills, confidence, and inner power. Over three intensive months, you’ll learn powerful shamanic ideas and practical healing techniques you can use for your own well-being, to work with others, and to move further on your path of service to Spirit, community, Earth, and the future. This program is designed for anyone interested in shamanic healing techniques. It may be particularly helpful for therapists, massage therapists, yoga instructors, or those working with other energy healing techniques who want to expand their tool kit.
This program draws from three main sources: Celtic shamanism, Amazonian healing, and practices from Central Mexico (Toltec).
Five In-Person Weekend Workshops
The workshops will be held on Friday-night/Saturday + Zoom calls in between. These will keep you connected, practicing and building skills, and forging relationships with like-minded souls. This is an immersive, grounded experience for committed people ready to take a significant next step in their personal spiritual work and personal journey. We do make some limited audio recordings of our meetings available only for those attending, so you will not be able to join this particular training online. During the program, we will also email you audios and text with meditations, healing songs to learn, and prayers that can help your study.
This training program will focus on teaching these skills:
- Core Shamanic healing techniques.
- Daily spiritual practices for building inner power and connection to Spirit and otherworldly guides.
- Psychic and energetic protection techniques.
- Shamanic singing for healing and ceremony.
- Intro to prayer with the Celtic medicine wheel. The Celtic wheel is similar in some ways to other medicine wheels, and different in some ways.
- Poetry and stories as medicine (primarily Celtic stories).
- Working with sacred Tobacco as a healing ally (level 2).
- Learning the art of the “offrenda” - a beautiful offering bundle meant to deliver blessing and medicine to the spirit world, particularly helpful in ancestral work and “manifesting.”
- Working on building personal “presence.”
You can take this course purely for personal development and desire to expand your connection with Spirit. However, it will also teach you basic shamanic healing skills to use with others. There will be some reading assignments, particularly at the beginning, but most of the work is personal practice. Participants in this program may receive invitations to begin working in a healing capacity in overnight prayer and healing ceremonies and in other capacities.
Pre-Requisites
- You should have at least some knowledge of shamanic ideas and it’s best to have at least a sense that you have some kind of otherworldly helper on your side. Part of the program will be to strengthen this important relationship.
- Familiarity with “the Shamanic Drum Journey” technique is helpful, but not crucial. If the drum journey technique is brand new to you, we will help you learn it.
- If you have not taken our “Working with Sacred Tobacco” level 1 class, you will need to take the online version of it before the program begins. See the program application for details.
- A commitment to do your best to attend all the in-person workshops. There will very limited ability to "catch you up" if you miss a weekend. We won't video the trainings. Some audio and written materials from the weekends may be available.
- A willingness to build communal relationships with fellow participants.
- Start the process by filling out an application and returning it.

Why In-Person?
There are some things – perhaps the most important things – that simply cannot be taught online. Beng in community is very nourishing for this kind of training, and it's the way its been done for millennia. We will have two Zoom calls during the program to check in with each other, deliver other teachings, and to have questions and answer sessions.
