“You have managed to create a simply AMAZING and unique alternative holiday experience! It’s been a long time since I’ve felt so alive!"  - JB

Welcome to our ebullient, joyful, mysterious, spiritual-but-not-religious

24th annual Winter Solstice Event.

Prepare yourself for an extravaganza!

The entire audience drums (bring your own, or borrow from our great “Mound ‘O Wahoo). The live Celtic music and chorus chanting lifts your spirits. That strange old man and woman tell you mythic stories that bend your mind, wrench your heart, and open a doorway to the renewing spirit inside you. And then they guide you into a mysterious healing and blessing ceremony drawn from their studies with shamans from around the world.

THIS EVENT SELLS OUT SWIFTLY - GET TICKETS EARLY!

In Act One, you’ll move into a darkness-infused ceremony with the Celtic “Old Bone Mother” (also known as the Cailleach) to clear away heavy energies. Act Two includes a blessing to open new life, vision and joy from the Spirit of The Reindeer, the powers of the Medicine Wheel, and the great un-namable, un-tameable, Spirit of Life.

It's an experience that is at once deeply reverent, poetic, smart and funny. You are absolutely free to enter the experience in any way that is meaningful to you. You don't have to believe anything or do anything that is not authentic to you. The purpose of the evening is to help you feel alive all the way down in your mythic bones, connected to nature, connected to Mystery, connected to each other.

Your guides on this Journey: Jaime Meyer and Patricia Choate draw from decades of study of mysticism, theology and shamanic training with a variety of indigenous teachers.

Seating is limited to 120 each night.  All seats are general admission.  Doors open at 6:30, and the event begins at 7. Arrive early for the best choice of seats (and to drum!).

There are no physcial tickets -  reserve your spots online,  and our box office will let you in. There is parking on the street (meters) and parking across from the opera center in a paid lot. The budiing is handicap accessible.

We love kids, but this event is really not suitable for young kids unless they are accustomed to unusual ceremony with some sustained darkness, some spookiness, and silence. We can’t offer lower price children’s tickets. Ticket purchase is non-refundable and non-transferrable after December 5.

Our Wondrous Musicians: Caitlin Benson and Andrew Lentz

We are thrilled to have these two sensitive and skilled artists return for another year!

What past audience members say:

"Dear Jaime Meyer, I don't know who you are or how you learned this, but you blew my mind in exactly the way I've been wanting. Thank you."

"I’ve never experienced so much laughing mixed with such beauty at the same time.”

“It's like church on acid."

"It takes you into a whole other world where you feel a great power of blessing, and then brings you back again safely."

"Get tickets early."
