Drumming The Soul Awake meets at First Universalist Church, 34th street and Dupont Avenue South in stupendously spiritual Uptown, Minneapolis. Drumming starts at 7 PM, lasts for about 90 minutes, then we take a short break for snacks and conversation. Those who want to can return for the second part of the evening which is more directly ceremonial, meditative, prayerful, or shamanic - whichever word you wish to use. We include the break so that those who want the drumming but don't want the ceremony may exit without feeling they are put on the spot.
