Saturday, October 26th: Dark Moon Samhain/Halloween Drum Circle & Ceremony
Ancestor blessing and calling for power from the Dark Womb of the Great Mystery
6:30 PM - 9:30 PM at Wood Lake Nature Center (Map)
Halloween (Samhain) is the time to set intention, to honor the ancestors, to ask the big questions of destiny. In our particular case, at this time in this place, it's also a time for us to grieve, cleanse and open our vision. There's a suggested donation of $20, but don't let money be your obstacle - come, wahoo and pay what you want. Bring a drum or rattle or other instrument if you want, or borrow one of mine. No drumming experience is needed - only a desire to enter the Wahoo. I love it when people arrive saying "I want to dance tonight!" because dancing always lifts the whole room into the next happy level. You don't need to make reservations for this event - just show up! Drumming starts at 7 and goes for a little more than an hour. Then we take an intermission, and those who want to then return for the ceremonial "act two" of the evening.
