New Year Divinations: Saturday, January 5th
An intimate ceremony to recieve personalized guidance for the year.
This is a unique, communal, mysterious evening limited to 12 participants. As the group drums for you, I open the door to Spirit to offer you personalized guidance for the year. A few days before the event, you'll receive an email with more details.
Note on logistics of this evening: The evening is split into two identical halves. Each half begins with a tobacco ceremony for cleansing negative energies and opening vision. Then we move into the divination ceremony in which everyone drums (soft, monotonous, "shamanic" drumming) to support each others' divination. You can bring a drum or borrow one of mine.
- Arrive at 6:30 and stay for the whole evening, witnessing all the divinations, including yours.
- Arrive at 6:30 and exit at 8 when we break for the second half.
- Arrive at 8 PM and participate in the second round of divinations.

"[It] was powerful, communal, and enlightening. The drums opening a way, and paths revealing to everyone in the group of work to be done, wounds to be healed, spirits and ancestors to be honored and called upon...I felt a lesson and wise advice in each of the readings, and to hold space for each other in such a vulnerable and sacred way was a great honor. ~R.H.
What a refreshing, sweetly challenging, insightful way to begin a new year. To take a step back, into an ancient spiritual art. Your colleagues are in short supply, Jaime. How glad am I to have both access and trust in the authenticity and sincerity of your expression in this courageous path you tread. -LJ
I enjoyed the tobacco ceremony, the support of the drummers, the seriousness of your process, and the the matter of fact-ness with which you communicated. There was no 'good or bad', just, "This is what I am getting". I appreciated that anyone would feel welcome regardless of their lack of participation in drumming or shamanic work in the past. -CS
