End of Summer Full Moon Drum Circle
and Ceremony of Blessing the River (and all life)
![]() Join us for year eight of Groovelicious Rhythmocity (drumming, dancing, revelry and ceremony) to bid farewell to the Old Man Fire of summer, to thank Mother Earth for the harvest, and to praise the love between them. We will then honor the life-giving Mississippi River and summon the powers of Love, Hope and Optimism into our bodies, hearts and minds. Wahoo!

Feel free to arrive any time after 4 to revel in the park. Flinging frisbees, flitting flutes and fearless fiddles are welcome. And guileless guitars. What about rain? We have the shelter at Hidden Falls rented starting at 4. It's rained the last two years (and was bright and sunny the five previous years!) The ceremonies are powerful no matter what the weather. This ceremony will happen, rain or shine. Cost: There's a suggested donation of $20. Please don't let money keep you away - come and pay what you want. Wahoo! Questions: Email Jaime: drummingthesoulawake@gmail.com |
